Annapurna Base Camp trek is one of the popular tourist trekking destinations in Nepal. Giant peaks of Annapurna 1, Gangapurna and Machhapuchhre rise above 7000m. from the base. At the foot of Annapurna is the ABC (Annapurna Base Camp). The trek starts by coming to Pokhara. We enter the beautiful Gurung village at Ghandruk. From there we cross Chomrong and move towards Deurali.
From here after five-six hours of walk, we arrive at Annapurna Base Camp. Annapurna Base Camp lies at an elevation of 4130 meters from the sea level. where we spend overnight and head back to Bamboo, Jhinu Danda to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara. From the base camp, you get a 360-degree view of Annapurna Mountain ranges along with fascinating landscapes of this region. The temperature usually ranges from 4-degree centigrade to 20-degree centigrade.
Spring from March to May and Autumn from September to November are ideal for embarking upon Annapurna base camp trek. There are tea houses and lodges to provide you hospitality and comfort during this trek. You require average physical fitness and a strong will to accomplish this trek by walking 5-6 hours a day. You will also visit UNESCO world heritage sites at Kathmandu a day before the final departure.
