Annapurna Circuit Trek crosses two different river valleys and encircles Annapurna massif. It boasts spectacular mountain scenery and rising peaks of Mt Annapurna 1-4, Mt Dhaulagiri, Mt. Machhapuchhre, Mt. Manaslu, Mt. Gangapurna, Tilicho peak, Pisang Peak and Paungda Danda at an elevation of 6000 m-8000m. The high point of the trek entails crossing the 5416m high Thorong La Pass.
The valley of Upper Manang is the home of Tibetan-Buddhist pilgrimage site & Muktinath, Kaligandaki valley with settlements of Gurung, Thakali and Manangi people. Annapurna circuit trek starts from the Besisahar and passes along Marsyangdi river and high passes of Thorung La.Then we trek to Manang and after crossing the Thorong la Pass via Muktinath and arrive at Jomsom, then we descend down to Tatopani & from Tatopani, we will ascend to Ghorepani and finally reach Poon hill.
From there we head back to Hile and arrive Nayapul from where we drive to Pokhara. The next day from Pokhara we will fly back to Kathmandu with the memory of this beautiful trek. The trek is usually going anti-clockwise. Annapurna circuit trek is moderate to fairly challenging, makes numerous river crossings along with suspension bridges. The best season for this trek is October to the end of November in the Autumn and from March to the end of May in the spring season.
