Dhechyan Khang Peak is known as a climbing peak in Nepal’s Damodar mountain chain, which is found at Dalome municipality of the Mustang district. At an elevation of 6013 meters, the mountain top is also found at latitude 29.0361 and longitude 84.2519. Mount Damodar Himal 4890m, Annapurna II 7937m, Dhaulagiri, Peri Himal, Annapurna, and other peaks will be seen from the summit of Dhechyan Khang Peak.
Region
At higher elevations, the region’s vegetation includes Pine and Hemlock woods, White Fir, Juniper, Birch, and Rhododendron, scrub, and alpine plant communities. The Red Panda, Snow Leopard, Musk Deer, Himalayan Tahr, Marten, Himalayan Mouse Hare (Pika), and over 118 species of birds, including the Impeyan Pheasant, Snow Cock, Blood Pheasant, and Red-billed Cough, may all be found in the park.
Trekking Routes
There is only one trail that leads to Dhechyan Khang Peak. The trail starts from Jomsom to Kagbeni, Chusang, Ghami, Charang, Surkhang, Yara, BC, and the Dhechyan Khang Peak base camp, covering 93.2 kilometers and 5.2 kilometers to the summit respectively.
