Gosaikunda Helambu Trek is one of the most adventurous trekking routes in Nepal. This route follows the same route to the Langtang valley trek at the beginning. It takes you to high passes in the mountain regions. Mt. Langtang, Ganesh Himal, Yala peak and Annapurna ranges. Along the trails, you will come across a cultural diversity of Sherpa, Tamang and Tibetan people. You can also observe their tradition, religion, and lifestyle. It is also a holy lake because it attributes the abode of Shiva and Gauri. There are tea houses that offer a variety of snacks. After visiting the holy Gosaikunda Lake we trek down to Laurebina pass and enter the Helambu region. By crossing Thadepatti, Ghopte and Kutumsang the walk leads along the ridges towards eastern Kathmandu valley rim hills. We trek from Melamchi gaon to Timbu and drive back to Kathmandu through the route of Bhaktapur.
