Langtang Trek With Yala Peak Climbing - 20 Days

The Langtang trek with Yala peak climbing is one of the most adventurous trekking routes in Nepal. It leads you to high passes in the mountainous regions. on the way, you can see  Langtang, Ganesh Himal, and Annapurna Range. On the trails, you will encounter a cultural diversity of Sherpa, Tamang, and Tibetans.

The hike starts from Syabru Besi. It follows the Langtang River towards the bamboo forest and leads via the Lama Hotel 2470m. from the sea level to the Bamboo Lodge.  The treks continue at an altitude of 3440m to the village of Langtang. Finally, you reach the last village of this treks called Kyangjin Gompa. After that, you have to spend one night in the tent for the Yala Peak climbing at Yala peak High camp at an elevation of 4800m.  and you have to take some dry food with you.

Climb Yala Peak

Our climbing guide will provide food and drinks at the High camp as well. In the early morning you start the ascent to the Yala peak summit with our experienced climbing guide and in the afternoon you return to Kyangjin Gompa. The next day you can descend the same way to Pahira Thapla and from there you have to climb to Thulo Syabru at 2470 m. Thulo Syabru is the Tamang village and lies west over the Gosaikunda Pass. The next day you will climb to the village called sigh Gompa. Similarly, the next morning is the journey to Laurebina and to Gosainkunda Lake.

Gosaikunda Lake is a freshwater lake at an altitude of 4380 meters. It is also a holy lake because it describes the abode of Shiva and Gauri. There are teahouses offering different snacks. After visiting the holy Gosaikunda Lake we hike down to the pass of Laurebina 4610m. and enter the Helambu region. Through the villages of Gopte, Thadepati and Melamchi Gaon. We walk from Melamchi gaon to Timbu and drive back to Kathmandu via Bhaktapur. On the way back to Kathmandu we visit Bhaktapur.

Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu & transfer to the hotel.

Our airport executive will pick you up from the airport and transfer to the Hotel. Afternoon provide the dinner through the company at Nepalese Restaurant with cultural program.

Day 2
Drive to Syabrubensi 8 to 9 hrs. (1500m.)

After breakfast we drive with jeep to Syabru bensi at the height of 1500m. The road goes through Trisuli bazar via Betrawati and Dunche to syabru bensi. We will make a stope for lunch at Trisuli bazar. Afternoon you will arrive at Syabru bensi.

Day 3
Trek to Lama Hotel 2470m.

Today you will start your trek from Syabru bensi to Lama hotel. The name of this place is called lama hotel, because there was only one hotel and it was runed by one of the folks group lama so the name of this place is called lama hotel.

Day 4
Trek to Langtang 3440m.

After the breakfast at Lama hotel, you will start to move to Langtang village through various small villages. This village was all destroyed by the earthquack in 2015. Now most of them are rebuild and it is running by the local people again. Now you can stay overnight in a normal lodges in this village.

Day 5
Trek to Kyangjin Gompa

The trek goes to Kyangjin gompa. After the breakfast without any hustle and bustle you will start your trek to Kyangjin gompa. This is the last village that you are staying in lodges.

Day 6
Acclimatization day in kyangjin

Today is the leisure day. If someone interested one can go for the hiking to kyangjin ri. There is also another possibilities to go to Tsergo ri, for the acclimatization. You should take a pack lunch for the trip to Tsergo ri. Which lies at an altitude of 4984m.

Day 7
Trek to Yala peak Base Camp. 4800m.

Now you have to check all the equipments for the climbing of Yala peak. Normally it is not very strenuous and difficult to climb. Despite all this, we need to take the equipment with us. Today you have to stay overnight in Tent.

Day 8
Summit day & back to Kyangjin Gompa

Early in the morning we start climbing the Yala Peak with our climbing equipment. After the summit of Yala-peak we will take some pictures and after a few minutes we will go down to the high camp, where we will enjoy a cup of tea or soups. Then descending slowly down to Kyanjin Gompa. (3817m)

Day 9
Trek back to Lama Hotel .

Today we descend to the Lama Hotel in the same village where we stayed. (2470m.)

Day 10
Trek to Thulo Syabru 2300m.

The trek goes to the pahira thapla via the same way and from there you have to climb up to Thulo syabru. Which lies at an elevation of 2300m. from the sea level.

Day 11
Trek to sing Gompa 3350m.

After breakfast we climb up to the Dursa gang and sing Gompa at an altitude of 3250 m. Where you can enjoy the cheese factory.

Day 12
Trek to Laurebina 3910m.

From here we will climb up again to Laurebina with a few Tamang settlements. Laurebina lies at an altitude of 3910m

Day 13
Trek to Gosainkunda 4410m.

Today it’s only a short walk to Gosainkunda Lake. Which is popular and famous for the Hindu pilgrims. In Janai Purnima on the full moon day of August, thousands of Hindu pilgrims and shamans come here to visit and celebrate the festival of janai purnima

Day 14
Trek to phedi 3740m.

Today we climb slowly to the laurebina pass at an altitude of 4610m. Then from the pass we always go down to the phedi at 3740m

Day 15
Trek to Tharepati 3640m.

Today’s day is very interesting but sometimes exhausting. We walk through the bamboos and also in mixed forest to Tharepati at an altitude of 3640m. 5-6 hrs

Day 16
Trek to Melamchi Gaon. 2530m.

From Tharepati we descend to the Melamchi gaon. This village was also washed away by the earthquake in 2015, and now everything is rebuilt. (2530m.). Duration: 4-5 hrs

Day 17
Trek to Timbu. 1400m.

Today is the last hiking days. We walk to the Timbu at an altitude of 1400m. Almost the same height as Kathmandu. Today we say goodbye to the porters and the other staffs, one guide will stays with the group and the others go by bus to Kathmandu.

Day 18
Drive to kathmandu.

After the breakfast we unload the luggage in jeep or in the bus. Jeep or bus according to the group size. Then we drive over Bhaktapur to Kathmandu. On the way we will also visit Bhaktapur.

Day 19
Sightseeing in Kathmandu (UNESCO world heritage sites) .

Today we visit the 3 World Heritage Sites. Pashupati nath, Buddha nath & Swayambhu nath. In the evening our company will provide the farewell dinner with cultural program in Kathmandu. 1350m.

Day 20
Final departure.

According to the flight schedule our Airport Executive will take you to the Airport for the final departure
