Lobuche peak is also one of the popular trekking peaks in the Khumbu, Everest region in the eastern part of Nepal. The routes follow for the Lobuche peak is also similar to the route to Everest Base Camp trek. One can take a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla or in case of flight delay or cancelation, you can also get the other alternative route, so you have to drive from Kathmandu to Phaplu with the private jeep or Bus and from Phaplu you can start your trek. But only in the case of flight cancelation. It has two different peaks east and west, the east part is known as a trekking peak and the west part is known as the Lobuche expedition.
Mostly the trekkers climb the eastern part and who wants to do the expedition they can climb up the west one. There is no more difference between the east and west because it is only the technical problem to climb up. The west ridge is a little bit technical than the last one so it is known as expedition, the eastern part is not more technical to climb and summit the peak. The trekking route goes the same way to Everest Base Camp up to Lobuche, and from here, one can fix the camp at Lobuche base camp or high camp at an elevation of 5400m. then the next early morning begins the summit day to the peak.
