Numbur cheese circuit trekking is a newly opened trekking route in Ramechhap district. This trek gives astounding glimpses of nature of the motherland Nepal. The trek offers fascinating views of Annapurna, Langtang, Gauri Shankar, and captivating Likhu Khola
glacier. Through the journey, along the Numbur Cheese Circuit trek, you will visit the Cheese factory that had been established.
in the year 1957. You can also see the Thodung monastery in the region. Besides, there
are a subtropical forest, terraced lands, lakes, and gorges. Along the journey, you will be
greeted by rhododendron filled forest, meadows and greenery. You will find wild animals
of mountain regions like Himalayan Tahr, snow leopard, chauri. You will stay on a campsite
and also homestay for overnight in Nepal.
High pass and mountain vistas
Nature has offered gifts with holy water which made five lakes or Paanchpokhari.
Traversing along the Thulo Lapcha pass at 4838 meters you come to Likhule Khola
valley and see milky waters of Dudhkunda lake. On this trek, when you arrive at Newari
village of Lapchane, you can see some sweeping ranges of Eastern Himalayan peaks.
Breathtaking sunrise and sunset views across the mountain peaks. This trek requires
you to have a good level of physical fitness and some trekking experience. It is
moderately difficult.
Best seasons for Numbur Cheese circuit trek are autumn (September, October and
November) and spring (March, April and May).
