+977-9860498042The Park is located at the Bardia district in the Bheri Zone. It is establish in 1988, and spread over the area of 968 square kilometers. It has a buffer zone and community forest to avoid wildlife poaching and conserve the habitat particularly endangered animals inside the conservation area of Bardia National Park. Earlier during the late 1960s, it is the hunting ground of the Royals and then the Royal Bardia National Reserve is officially formed. It is then in 1988 turn into full-fledged Bardia National Park.
The farmers in that area are asking to evacuate and reportedly 1400 people had left. Thus, it had greater space for animals roaming and being an undisturbing place in Nepal it is now home of different species of wild animals, mammals, and birds. Some of the endanger animals like the royal Bengal tiger can be see roaming around in the national park of Bardia.
To arrive here you can drive here on a private vehicle from Kathmandu to Mahendranagar that makes fifteen hours of drive. By flight, you can take a domestic flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj and take a bus ride from Nepalgunj to Thakurdwara. With us, you will be easily picked up at Nepalgunj airport and take you straight into the lodge of Bardia National Park. The flora and fauna of this Park is a diverse one with a mix of grasslands and riverine forests.
The park provides shelter to animals like white elephant, royal Bengal tiger, one-horn rhinos, swamp deer, blackbuck, gharial, marsh mugger, Gangetic dolphin, snakes, lizards, fish. There are about 407 bird species such as white-rumped vulture, Bengal pelican, peafowl, bar-head geese, floricans. The entire park area is cover with savannah, grassland, and riverine forest. Besides the park, the area has a community health post and a museum. Tourists and travelers are attraction by Tharu dance often depicting the folklore of Tharu culture.
The climate here is mostly dry from October to early April. Then from late April to June, the temperature soars up. However hot sticky days give way to the monsoon that lasts till September end. So we recommend the best time to visit this ark is during autumn, winter and early summer. During these days, the climate is favorable as the days are warm and evenings are cool. In monsoon, there can be floods in the riverbank and in peak summer it is very hot.

This big cat is known for its stamina, strength, agility and tremendous power. It is also a national animal of India that can be found in the conservatory of Bardia National Park forests. Since 2010 they were classified as endangered.
They weigh around 180 to 250 kgs. On the safari, we bring you to the spots which have close proximity with the enclosure of Royal Bengal tigers. There are telltale signs such as the footprints of the paws that can tell that a tiger is lurking closeby along with the bushes of the jungle. Depending upon luck you might see mother and cubs or a male tiger. But we will always ensure our safety and never get close to a tiger. This morning we pick up from the hotel. Then we drive on an air conditioned bus to Bardia National Park. It takes 15 hours on the road to reach there. In the afternoon we check into a hotel and have lunch. Then we give the brief of the tour. The conservation area has a thick jungle. There are wild animals, birds in the enclosure. We will be able to see one horned rhinos, white elephant, royal bengal tiger, crocodiles, swamp deer, gangetic dolphins, reptiles, mammals and amphibians. After enjoying a few days in Bardia National Park we wrap up and wind down to Nepalgunj. From Nepalgunj airport we fly back to Kathmandu and arrive at our hotel. Farewell program and dinner in the evening. Overnight at Kathmandu.
