Tilicho lake trek is a popular trekking destination in the Annapurna region. Which is to a heavenly lake below the surroundings of Mountain peaks. It is the highest lake in Nepal at 4919 meters. To get there the high passes of Annapurna Mountain region name Thorong La Pass. It must be traversed by the trekkers at the Manang district.
The trek is adventurous in the remote regions of Nepal. This trek takes you straight to landmarks of Marsyangdi valley to Chame and reclining to the Kaligandaki valley below. To arrive here first the trekkers drive to Beshisahar where the trekking starts. Taking through the Tibetan villages to the Marsyangdi River with backdrops of Manaslu and Hiunchuli to the Manang district.
Prominent places like Dharapani followed by Bagarchhap, Chame takes the travelers to Tilicho Lake. Mani walls, prayer flags, gorges, grazing yak pastures, pine forest, farming terraces, icefalls are some of the significant observing points towards the Tilicho camp.
Tilicho Lake is a crystalize mountain lake fill with turquoise blue water. The trekking move towards Jomsom and Muktinath and flight to Pokhara and back to starting point completing Tilicho Lake trek in Nepal. The trek is largely based on lodging. As lodges have been build in this region to give service to the trekkers.
It has a high pass name Thorong La Pass this trekking is a strenuous, but rewarding trek in the countryside also guided by guides and porters. Tilicho Lake is surrounding by Mt. Khangsar, Muktinath peak, Nilgiri, and Mt. Tilicho from which the name of the lake has been derived from. The best seasons are April, May, September, October, and November.

Today is your another day at Kathmandu. We will take you on a guided city tour around famous landmarks of Kathmandu City. Pashupatinath, Swoyambhunath, Patan Durbar Square, Bouddhanath, etc are all under UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Nepal. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.
Today we drive to Beshisahar the starting point of the whole journey. The drive takes you straight to the countryside with views of rivers, farms. Overnight at tea house in Beshisahar
We climb to Khudi and then arrive the Gurung Village. Bulbule is a reminiscence with culture and typical local lifestyle adorned by people there. Overnight at lodge.
Today the trail is downwards from Baundanda crossing the Marsyangdi river and follow river to stone village houses in Jagat and climb towards forest that takes to Chamje village. Overnight at Chame.
We again follow the roads of Marsyangdi river uphill to Tal climb stone steps and go up and down to arrive at Dharapani. Then the trails head to Bagarchhap where on thatched stone houses the local Tibetans reside. Overnight at Bagarchhap.
Today we climb to Tyanja and then to Khopar from where we arrive at Chame which is the headquarter of Manang district. Overnight at Chame.
Walking down the forest path and then crossing the bridge of the river down below and again arriving and crossing another bridge with Paungda Danda we come to Pisang. Overnight at Pisang.
We leave Pisang and continue to Trek to the northern bank of Marsyangdi river and come to Mungji then move to Bryanga which is nearby Manang. Overnight at Manang
We head west leaving Manang to the path down to a river of Khangsar Khola and rise to a slope and arrive at Khangsar village. Overnight at Khangsar village.
We pass by a Gompa to a path leading towards a high ridge to a new path that leads to a crest and descends through scree slopes where below is the brook. On the other side is the Tilicho lake base camp. Overnight at base camp.
From Tilicho base camp to Tilicho lake the trekking is only for a few hours. Tilicho lake is in a barren surrounding. It is the highest mountain lake in Nepal. After enjoying the site of Tilicho lake we head back to Base Camp. Overnight at base camp.
Yak Kharka is a path above Khangsar village that takes you to unmarked trails and down the river and crossing the old bridge between Gumsang and Yak Kharka. Overnight at Yak Kharka.
Trekking path today descends to cross a river and climb up to Thorong Phedi where there is a tea house. Overnight at Thorong Phedi.
The trek is strenuous today we reach the high camp with a glimpse of mountains till we arrive at the top part of Thorong and down to Mustang leaving Kaligandaki valley far below and walk to Muktinath and see Muktinath temple. Overnight at Muktinath.
Today is the last part of the trekking in Nepal. We trek to Kagbeni on the left fork of Kaligandaki River. Then from Kagbeni, we continue trekking to Jomsom which is also a salt trading route. Overnight at Jomsom.
We enjoy a scenic mountain flight to Pokhara. The outside views of Mt Dhaulagiri and Mt. Annapurna is vivid. Pokhara is a tourist place we will tour around Bindabasini temple, boating at Phewa lake visit Davis fall and Cave called Gupteswar. Overnight at hotel in Pokhara.
Today we fly from Pokhara to reach Kathmandu which is only a few hours. Arriving Kathmandu we have successfully ended the Tilicho lake trek in Nepal. We will have a farewell program in evening. Overnight at Kathmandu.
Today after breakfast and signing out from the hotel we will drive you down to the airport a few hours before the scheduled flight. Wehope you had a great time trekking in Nepal.
