Entry Requirements for Nepal: Do You Need a Nepali Port Form?
Foreign tourists are not required to fill out a mandatory "Nepali Port Form" before entering Nepal.
Here's what they actually need:
1. Visa:
- Many tourists can obtain an on-arrival visa upon arrival.
- This visa is issued by the Department of Immigration Nepal.
- It is available at Kathmandu International Airport and border crossings.
2. Arrival Form:
- Tourists must fill out an arrival form (Arrival Card) upon arrival.
- This form can also be completed online in advance, but it is not mandatory.
- It can also be filled out directly at the airport at kiosks or counters.
3. Passport and other documents:
- A passport valid for at least six months
- Passport photo(s)
- Visa fee
