Numbur Cheese Circuit Trek is a newly opened trekking route in Ramechhap district. This trek gives astounding glimpses of nature of the motherland Nepal. The trek offers fascinating views of Annapurna, Langtang, Gauri Shankar, and captivating Likhu Khola glacier. Through the journey, along the Numbur Cheese Circuit trek, you will visit the Cheese factory that had been established.
In the year 1957. You can also see the Thodung monastery in the region. Besides, there are a subtropical forest, terraced lands, lakes, and gorges. Along the journey, you will be greeted by rhododendron filled forest, meadows and greenery. You will find wild animals of mountain regions like Himalayan Tahr, snow leopard, chauri. You will stay on a campsite
and also homestay for overnight in Nepal.
Nature has offered gifts with holy water which made five lakes or Paanchpokhari. Traversing along the Thulo Lapcha pass at 4838 meters you come to Likhule Khola valley and see milky waters of Dudhkunda lake. On this trek, when you arrive at Newari village of Lapchane, you can see some sweeping ranges of Eastern Himalayan peaks. Breathtaking sunrise and sunset views across the mountain peaks. This trek requires you to have a good level of physical fitness and some trekking experience. It is moderately difficult.
Best seasons for Numbur Cheese circuit trek are autumn (September, October and November) and spring (March, April and May).
Welcome to Nepal, you have arrived at Tribhuvan International airport. We are already there waiting to receive you at your arrival time. We will drive you to hotel. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.
Today our journey to Numbur Cheese trek has begun. After breakfast we drive for eight hours to Shivalaya. You will drive alongside Khimti River and come to the entrance of Numbur Cheese Circuit tour. Overnight stay at Shivalaya.
To you move from Shivalaya to higher altitudes of Khahare. You can see herd of cattle, terraced farmlands when you arrive here. Overnight stay at Khahare.
We move from Khahare to camping site of Panipakha. You can see the offset Mountains and Chauri cow sheds in this region. Overnight stay at Panipakha.
When we arrive at Manedanda we are greeted by rhododendron covered forest we head towards the shelter in Manedanda. Overnight stay at Manedanda.
From Manedanda just five hours of trek will bring to five lakes called Paanchpokhari. It is situated at height of 4200 meters. It is a holy spot for Hindus. We will also see Jatapokhari and waterfall. Overnight at campsite at Panchpokhari.
Today you will have to cross a high pass and reach Khola Kharka. You will pass by bamboo trees and reach near Nupche River. From there we head to our camping spots. Overnight stay at Tare.
Today you will have a pleasant walk on the hill and be able to see mountains and flowing river along the way. We will go through Gyazo La that takes towards Ngeju peaks commonly the circuit used by Sherpa people. Then you will walk towards Likhu glacier. It will take to Ngeju at 3960 meters. Overnight stay at Ngeju.
We now move ahead of the trek towards the traditional village and people at Sewar. We head towards the upper Ramechhap area until we reach Lhachhewar. Overnight stay at Lhachhewar.
Today we move towards dense jungle paths and that will take you to Kyama village with backdrops of Numburchuli and Pathibhara on the way. Overnight at homestay in Kyama.
We walk past temperate forest and scenery of the surroundings as we move towards Serding. You can also try yak cheese as you arrive at Serding. Overnight at Homestay in Serding.
Today we first come to Thotung and see the monastery here. Then we move downhill to Deurali and soak the natural beauty of Mt. Gauri Shankar before reaching Lapchane. You can see Gaurishankhar, Annapurna, Numbur and Mt. Kanchenjunga peaks from here. Overnight stay at Lapchane.
Leaving Lapchane behind we move towards Jiri for five six hours trek. Jiri is also regarded as the gateway to Everest Base Camp. We stay Overnight stay at Jiri.
Today we head back to Kathmandu on 7 hours’ drive. We will pass by Ramechap and Dhulikhel route and come to Bhaktapur before arriving at hotel in Kathmandu. Overnight in hotel at Kathmandu.
Today you have one whole day sightseeing program in Kathmandu. You will visit UNESCO World Heritage sites of Nepal such as Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath, Boudhhanath, Kathmandu Durbar Square. Farewell dinner at hotel. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Today is the last day and the end of the Numbur cheese circuit trek in Nepal. It was our delight to have you all along. We will drop you down at airport few hours before the scheduled flight back home. Have a wonderful journey.
